Day 10 - Friday 19 May 2017
Rest Day in Stoke
The first of our seven rest days. A lazy day recharging the batteries yet it was important to keep the limbs moving as we had probably the hardest day of the walk tomorrow over to Boscastle from Bude. Anna kindly gave us a lift into Hartland and we mooched around the village, topped up on supplies and visited the very nice cafe in the square. We also took the opportunity to send some stuff home - maps we had no need for and some other bits and bobs. Wandered back to Hartland Quay and had a drink in The Wreckers Retreat - such a lovely spot to while away the day. Eventually tore ourselves away from the coast and ambled back to Stoke - Anna cooked us a lovely meal which topped off a super day.
We had 4 nights staying in Stoke near Hartland Quay - a lovely village
