Route Map
The parking area at Jubilee Bridge.
Jubilee Bridge itself cannot be seen from the road therefore if you are coming from the west the parking is just over the cattle grid.
However if you have just run the gauntlet of the Hardknott Pass then the parking area is just before the cattle grid although there is parking to the west 0.2 miles along the lane.

Jubilee Bridge over Hardknott Gill
The path from Jubilee Bridge is very clear on the ground as we head out to the south west in the direction of Birker Fell
Looking back into Eskdale
After about 3/4 of a mile the route leaves the main path to head steeply up to the south east
Nearing Harter Fell's summit the top can be accessed either to the left or to the right
The Trig Point on the summit of Harter Fell - the true summit lies a few yards to the east and consists of a rock platform.
Fudge appears to have gone all shy on us.
