Walk Description
The first of two walks today as later on we were off down to Buttermere to nip up Rannerdale Knotts. There is a fair amount of parking at Newlands Hause but I can imagine it must be busy here in the height of Summer. The path to Knott Rigg is plainly obvious and you immediately start climbing once you are on it. The path is good and stays that way all the way over to Ard Crags and there are fine views throughout the walk.
This was a quick out and back but can be joined up to form a Newlands Round taking in Cat Bells, Dale Head and Robinson etc. A good walk all the same.
