Walk Description
We were staying in our Caravan in Charmouth and with Angie's Mum living in Bridport we took the opportunity to walk along the Jurassic Coast to the town and then catch the bus back to Charmouth later that evening. The walk gives glorious views both East and West, particularly along the coast to Portland where the island juts out into the Channel. The summit of Golden Cap also gives a super view of the coast, in particular Lyme Regis. There are quite a few ups and downs on this route, particularly as you make your way out of Seatown but in general they are not too onerous. We took the opportunity to have lunch in The Anchor Inn at Seatown (http://www.theanchorinnseatown.co.uk) and also the very good organic Garden Cafe at Downhouse Farm (http://www.downhousefarm.org).
On a sunny day with good visibility this is an excellent walk with lots of interest along the way - the pub and cafe are definitely worth a visit.

Whilst you should not get lost, the signage on this walk was excellent
