Siabod Cafe, Capel Curig
There are several places to park in and around Capel Curig however if you ask nicely and use the cafe they will allow you to leave your car here for the duration of your walk. We had breakfast here before the start and a piece of cake on completion.
Picture
From the cafe the route turns right along the A5.
After a few hundred yards a turn off to the right an access track to the hostel gives access to the open hillside.
The Grid Reference for the turn off on the A5 to the hostel is SH 72535788.

After walking up the track to the hostel a gate gives access to the hillside.
It goes without saying that if there are livestock around, no matter how well your dog is trained then please put it on a lead.
